All Else Matters: Fashion in the 69th Golden Globe Awards

With the result of the golden globe awards last January 15, 2012 big stars claimed the victory but before they received the fruits of their labor they planned first on what to wear when they walk in the red carpet and so here are my portfolio of the best and worst dress during the awards night.

GLAM IN THE RED CARPET

MICHELLE WILLIAMS

Michelle Williams claimed the victory when she won the best performance by an actress in a motion picture-comedy or musical for her movie My Week with Marilyn. As for her red carpet win she wore the Jason Wu gown with the black head band that fits perfectly with her short hair. Truly a winner!

SALMA HAYEK

This voluptuous lady looks stunning in her strapless Gucci gown showing off her curves perfectly. Vavavoom!

LEA MICHELE

The 25 year old glee star wore a Marchesa gown with sequin design showing off more skin especially her cleavage and of course her curves. She looks great in this silvery shiny gown. Love it...Love Marchesa!

JESSICA CHASTAIN

She said that it is her first time in the golden globes and that she is Very nervous well I say she may not win (she was nominated best supporting actress for “The Help”) but she won in the red carpet. Couture white dress + simplicity= WINNER!

EVAN RACHEL WOOD

This 24 year old beautiful lady was nominated for best supporting actress for the movie "Mildred Pierce" wore a merallic green Gucci gown with metallic eye makeup that shows her beauty as well as the gown. Go Green!

LAURA DERN

This comedian won for her performance in”Enlightened” as the best actress in a television series-comedy or musical. More green...WINNER!

SHAILENE WOODLEY

Another Marchesa creation was worn by this 20 year old actress who is a newcomer but doesn't show that she is when she got a nomination for best supporting actress for her role in the movie "The Descendants". 3 words to describe her look for th e globes are white, shimmery and splendid!

DIANNA AGRON

More glee actress on the red carpet. Dianna looks hot, daring in her red gown by Giles that matches her red lipstick...HOT!

MERYL STREEP

The veteran Meryl Streep once again showed her acting skills by bringing home the best actress award in a drama for the movie "The Iron Lady" where she portrayed as Margaret Thatcher, the prime minister of United Kingdom through which she did a really good job and that's why she won. not just the best actress award she also won in the red carpet with her long black dress.

MARIA MENOUNOS

The host of EXTRA shows off her style with a long yellow gown with a perfect slit on the side and her vintage hair makes the entire outfit perfect. EXTRA! EXTRA!

EMMA STONE

“THE HELP” star arrived at the red carpet with a bang! This maroon long gown perfectly fits for her. She looks like a fairy isn’t she? Like..Like it!

KATE WINSLET

My favorite actress once again has proven that she is a good actress when she won best actress in a miniseries or motion picture made for television. She is also a winner in the red carpet with her black and white Jenny Packham gown with a perfect make up that made her look sophisticated and natural.

ANGELINA JOLIE

One of my favorite star and a fashion icon once again wowed everyone when she walked in the red carpet with her Versace gown that made her looked very beautiful in satin dress with a touch of red in her neckline. Her style for the globes ELEGANT, SIMPLE AND SEXY!

SOPHIA VERGARA

Sophia charmed her way to the red carpet with a blue strapless gown by Vera Wang. She is nominated for best supporting actress for The Modern Family. Thou she did not win, she is still a winner in the red carpet showing off her curves that is just SUPERB!

JULIANNE MOORE

She looks stunning in a black chanel gown paired with emerald jewelries that makes her looked perfect. And who says she’s 51? She doesn’t look one...GLAMOROUS JULIANNE!

REESE WITHERSPOON

This actress showed her style in the red carpet when she wore a head to toe red dress by ZAC POSEN. SIMPLE AND HOT!

VIOLA DAVIS

She was nominated for best actress in a drama and walks her way to the red carpet with her burgundy one shouldered long gown by Raoul.

AMBER RILEY

Another glee star showed her style in a red Badgley Mischka gown.

STACY KEIBLER

This tall blonde beautiful lady looks stunning in her red Valentino gown and aside the fact that she is George Clooney’s girlfriend, she proved that she can wowed everyone with her style..In Love and HOT!

PAULA PATTON

Here comes the sun! Oh, i mean here comes Paula in her Monique Lhuillier bright yellow gown. She is a presentor in the globes plus she stars in the biggest movie "Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol". Keep on shinning Paula!

DIANE LANE

Ms. Lane was nominated for the best actress in a miniseries or television film for her role in a drama film Cinema Verite. She wore a Reem Acra gold gown with sequin to make the total look perfect and made her look elegant. G FOR GLOBE AND G FOR GOLD!

MADELEINE STOWE

The star of “Revenge” was nominated for a best actress award in a Television series and looks great on the red carpet with her purple Vera Wang gown.

JULIANA MARGULIES

The “Good Wife” star shines in the red carpet with her purple Naeem Khan gown. She was nominated for a best actress in a drama and her gown was just perfect!

OCTAVIA SPENCER

The best supporting actress winner Octavia Spencer is also a winner in the red carpet with her Tadashi Shoji light purple or lavender gown with jewels design and a v-neck showing off a little of her cleavage looks vavavoom!

HELEN MIRREN

Another veteran in the red carpet Helen Mirren was the presenter during the golden globes and wore a Badgley Mischka dark purple gown. (I think purple is the color o f the globes...hehe)

FREIDA PINTO

A presenter plus prada gown plus a very expensive necklace = GOLDEN GLOBE NIGHT! ^^v

MELLISA McCARTHY

The”BRIDESMAIDS” star looks stunning in her emerald green gown by Badgley Mischka she bought along her boyfriend Ben Falcone. A Golden Date!

JENNA DEWAN

The couple’s first golden globes date wherein Channing Tatum was a presenter. Jenna wore a blue green Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Love, Love more Love!

AMY POEHLER

More gliiters in the red carpet but Amy Poehler made it look so elegant in a Naeem Khan gown.

KATHARINE MCPHEE

Her gown was made by Donna Karen, very simple yet elegant and her makeup made look younger and natural.

SARAH HYLAND

The modern family cast wowed everyone in her red carpet gown and showed that she’s a grown up with her Dolce&Gabbana lace gown. But she had a bad wardrobe malfunction when she broke her zipper but then professional as she is she laughed and seems nothing just happen.

KATE BECKINSALE

Her gown was made by Roberto Cavalli that made her look even beautiful, simple and classy matching it with her perfect hairstyle and dangling earrings...WOW!

NICOLE KIDMAN

Showing off her curves is my favorite actress Nicole Kidman in a Versace gown with beautiful detailing. I just LOVE her!

JULIE BOWEN

This Modern Family actress wore a gown made by Reem Acra. She looks like a princess, very elegant and classy ^^,

NICOLE RICHIE

Silver and more glitters, this gown was made by Julien MacDonald that made Nicole Richie look sophisticated and Stunning!

HEIDI KLUM

Supermodel host Heidi Klum knows how to do her thing in the red carpet with her Calvin Klein gown.

MILA KUNIS

Mila kunis wore a black Christian Dior gown that made her look very seductive and sexy. I Love her eyes, don’t you? ^.^

RICKY GERVAIS

The host of the 69th Golden Globe award is this guy wearing a maroon suit and looks hot on the red carpet with his wife. Hot for the suit and Hot in the eyes of his targets..haha

GEORGE CLOONEY

Mr. Clooney brings home the award by winning the best actor award for the movie "The Descendants". He wore a classic Armani Tux that made him even looked hot and of course In Love!

BRAD PITT

The perfect couple Brad and Angelina looked Very beautiful in their red carpet look. While brad who is a presenter wore a black three piece tuxedo made by Salvatore Ferragamo.

CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER

The veteran won the very first best supporting actor for his role (in the”Beginners”) as an old man who come out from his closet when her wife died. And aside from being called as the first winner it is also his first win in the globes plus he looks good in his suit.^^,

CONGARATULATIONS!

LEONARDO DICAPRIO

Mr. Dicaprio was nominated for best actor in a drama for his role in J. Edgar, and this handsome man was all suited up by Giorgio Armani.

WORST AND THE NOT SO WORST DRESS^^v

So here are the stars who did not show off their styles in the globes and I’m not going to comment anything it’s for you (our readers and viewers) to see, like and comment. ^^,
